Science Lab
The school has well equipped laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use these laboratories to learn through experiments. Every year latest instruments, specimens, charts etc. are purchased for these laboratories.
Science lab equipment allows students to interact directly with the data gathered. They get a first-hand learning experience by performing various experiments on their own. Students are made to use the models and understand different scientific theories and concepts.
STEAM Lab
Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The STEAM lab curriculum is an extension to the science/math curricula and it includes hands-on activities that emphasize the application of scientific concepts as we experience them in our daily lives.
The STEAM Lab in our school are designed for the purpose of building the student’s background knowledge of the different scientific concepts using sensory experiences and instil the skills of problem solving, critical thinking, and innovation in our students.
The STEAM Lab are well equipped to enhance the student’s creativity and let them practice the engineering process of brainstorming, planning, creating, improving and communicating.
ICT Lab
Our lives are so influenced by technology today that it is important that the children are scientifically and technologically literate. The N.L.K. Inter College has a hi-tech computer lab to make the students tech-savvy and keeps them abreast with the latest techniques & that teaches not just computer as a subject, but also, the integration of computer skills for learning of other subjects in the curriculum. The lab is well equipped to keep our student ahead in this IT-enabled world.
School Library
Our School has well equipped library which is operational in the form of Book Club, which include various books, magazines, range of reference books, newspaper, encyclopaedias. Well known writers are invited per year in the literature fest to promote reading culture among the students. The students are involved in the activities of designing book jackets & bookmarks and writing book reviews.
